"From our first meeting with John it was clear that he had extensive experience in managing several large developments in London before setting up as a consultant. It was also evident that he is well-connected in the sector. We found John’s experience invaluable in defining the key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to our development. John compiled and sent the 18- page illustrated tender specification to the candidate agents and the tender bids were submitted in confidence to IPC within a month. John analysed the bids and interviewed the prospective agents. He then presented a summary document and reported back to the full board. He was able to give us insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the corporate structures and capabilities of the candidate companies and to answer further questions from the board. Based on this the board proceeded with a series of interviews of senior representatives of the preferred bidders, leading to a decision on the award of the contract.
